Because I was reviewing the notes from the fifth session of Crag’s Ruin today, I felt it would be helpful to quickly sketch out the map (so far) of the location. This led to me grabbing my note book and drawing a scrappy map to help me get a sense of the place.

It’s a rough impression, with one square at about 1 yard, based on the description given in my notes. Once you draw something out, it’s easy to see how vague your description was. Even if I felt excited exploring it in the moment of play, now it seems quite empty.
I have a notion that I might continue to flesh out the location and key if for future adventures. I quite like the ruin as it exists in my mind’s eye and feel drawn towards the world it inhabits. Perhaps it can become a location for a bit of Open Table gaming with the school kids or friends online.
All I have to do is ignore the voice in my head telling me that I can’t draw for toffee.
Game on!
