This post is really all about letting folk know I received my copy of the Traveller 2022 Update rulebook today from Mongoose. It’s really very pretty – not that I have had much chance to flip through it.

As I spent time today working with players on characters for our forthcoming Third Imperium-based game, I did have a moment of, “Why am I not just using these rules?” They are very workmanlike and would be the easy choice for any Traveller-like campaign. The answer, of course, is that I am trying to master the GURPS rules and ‘easy’ is not always desirable.

Anyway… here you go: Mongoose’s Traveller Core Rulebook Update 2022 has landed in print, in the UK.
