Random Clue

Tiny Prep is what helps me keep my hand in daily, doing something for my games. Sometimes what I produce is clearly and intentionally added to my notes for a specific piece of prep. Other days, I just don’t have the energy to do anything except roll the 1d6.

Today, I rolled a 1 on the die: “Write a clue.”

I wrote the following, not really knowing what it is for but suspecting that it might have sparked something new in my current adventure design. I thought I’d share it as inspiration:

Large heavy-pawed tracks run through the centre of the hearth circle and end at the remains of the hearth tent. The large pyramidal tent has been ripped to shreds and ragged flaps of soft leather lie all around the tumbled tent poles. Bloody trails run from the hearth outward, as if dragged towards the eastern side of the circle. You see that the trails of blood end with a pile of corpses, stacked haphazardly atop one another and alive with the buzzing of flies.

Sometimes the things I scribble down raise more questions than they answer.

Game on!
