Sad news today at the passing of Boba rat, our father of many rats. He died peacefully in his sleep cuddling his brother, Mando, and one of his sons, Arneson.

Hard to remember how small he was when we first got him – they are all very small, of course – and how that earnest little face would become our first (accidentally) breeding male rat. He is survived by his 14 offspring, lucky devil!

Bye bye, Boba. You will be missed. Memory eternal!
