A visual treat arrived today in the form of the gloriously rendered Wilderlands Of High Fantasy maps drawn by Rob Conley. My quick photos can’t really do them full justice but they are lovely to have in hand.
Each map is designed to overlap vertically, so that you can utilise just one section at the table or build a larger two-page spread with relative ease. The map I am using shown here with the overlap in place:
I don’t know about you but I love to handle physical maps in my gaming. The tactile appeal and the ability to annotate them is a treat. As I looked over these examples, laid out roughly on the bed, I was reminded of long ago when a young lad would dream of faraway lands filled with fantastic adventure.
